🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today, as we celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedoms we cherish, we proudly reflect on the wonderful performances presented by our 4th grade students at both our Park Slope and Staten Island campuses. This performance is Park Slope’s🌟

Through music, dance, and reenactments, our students brought the story of the American Revolution to life with enthusiasm, confidence, and pride. Their hard work and dedication honored the courage, sacrifice, and enduring ideals that shaped our country’s history.

At Hellenic Classical Charter Schools, we are committed to helping students understand and appreciate the events that have defined our nation while inspiring them to become thoughtful, responsible citizens of the future.

We wish all of our HCCS families, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends a safe, joyful, and Happy Fourth of July! Happy 250th to the best Nation in the world 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🌟

America’s 250th! This post is Staten Island’s performance - through music, narration, and mostly true re-enactments (😉), our students brought the story of the American Revolution to life with enthusiasm, confidence, and pride. A special welcome to our new theatre coordinator, Ms. Christine, who in a short period of time coached our students, collaborated with teachers and brought this experience to life! This is HCCS🤩👏 Happy 4th everyone! Happy Birthday to the greatest nation 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We are proud to share that Hellenic Classical Charter Schools was represented in Greece by our Director of Communications and Parent Engagement, Dena Capetanakis, who participated in a special educational visit bringing together leaders and educators from Greek charter schools in the United States.

During the visit, the participants were welcomed by Greece’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Minister thanked the principals, directors and teachers for their enduring commitment to preserving the Greek language and promoting Greek culture throughout the United States.

At HCCS, this mission is at the heart of everything we do. We are honored to be part of a community dedicated to strengthening the bonds between Greece and the Greek diaspora while inspiring future generations through the study of the Greek language, history, and culture.

Congratulations to our 5th Grade Pegasus National Mythology Exam Award Recipients! This year’s exam focused on myths, characters, places, and concepts connected to the Greek Underworld, including Hades, Persephone, Charon, Cerberus, the Rivers of the Underworld, and famous journeys to the Underworld. We are very proud 🥇😃
