SEEDS of NEPA's Home Energy Efficiency Office Hours are coming up on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newfoundland Public Library.

Bring your utility bills, energy questions, or concerns and meet one-on-one with our volunteers for free guidance on reducing energy costs, improving home comfort, and making your home more energy efficient.

We look forward to helping you save energy and money this summer! 💡🏡

💫 We need YOU! 💫

We're calling on the community to volunteer your time and share your passions and knowledge with your fellow community members here at the library!!

At this time, we are specifically looking for class/ workshop instructors on anything educational, craft assistants at our GDS Fair Makers Booth, and any local animal owners to come together for a petting farm/ animal showcase type of event (reptiles fit the theme best, but everyone loves seeing any type of animal up close!). We can always use help with soliciting donations and/ or raffle prize type items from businesses or other generous donors as well as refreshments for future programming. THAT BEING SAID, WE ARE OPEN TO ANY AND ALL IDEAS!

Starting this Thursday: Free Summer Meals for Wallenpaupack Students! ☀️🍎

Wallenpaupack families are invited to take advantage of the SUN Meals To-Go program, providing free, nutritious meals for children all summer long!

📅 Thursdays, June 18 – August 20, 2026
📍 Pickup Locations:

Wallenpaupack South Elementary
12:00–2:00 PM

Wallenpaupack High School
5:00–7:00 PM

✅ Open to all children ages 1–18
✅ No income requirements
✅ No registration required (but encouraged for planning)

Each meal box includes 5–7 breakfasts and 5–7 lunches for the week.

This program is drive-thru for quick and easy pickup. Please note: Meals are intended for children not receiving meals from another summer program.
