This picture was taken just last fall, Sgt. Timothy Roussin is standing in the center. That is fitting; he was well known and was looked up to by all of us. Sgt. Roussin has been in Law Enforcement for 43 years, yes....43 years of service! He saw many changes come and go! He may have only spent 5 years here at Newport, but he meant a lot to us.

Today is his last day as a Law Enforcement Officer; it is well earned, he is retiring! He deserves to be away from the stress of the job and be able to spent time with family and friends.

We here at the Newport Police Department wish you the very best. It was an honor to serve with you!
