A special shout out to our Commander Tom Kuespert who, along with his current duties in the Legion, is our new State 2nd Vice. Also congratulations to Ryan Simpson who took on the responsibilities of being our new State 1st Vice. Congratulations and good luck!

A year ago when we were looking for a couple canoes for our paddling trips we met a very generous local husband and wife who set us up with 2 canoes. Fast forward to this week. Our paths hadn’t crossed since last year and I ran into him at the transfer station. We talked a few minutes and he asked what we were in need of. I mentioned we were looking for a smaller aluminum fishing boat we could load in a truck to get to remote back ponds. He told me to swing over to his house when I could, he had one. The boat they donated to us is exactly what we were looking for. I can see some exciting Veteran Artic Char fishing trips ahead in it. Our neighbors never cease to amaze me. Thank you for supporting us.
