🎓 Congratulations, Tanner & Greg! 🚒

Please join us in congratulating Firefighters Tanner LeFevre and Greg Ostermiller on completing their Paramedic Certification at Bridgerland Technical College!

Reaching this milestone required countless hours of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice while balancing the demands of their careers and family life. We also recognize and thank their families, whose support and sacrifices helped make this accomplishment possible.

Throughout their time at Bridgerland, Tanner and Greg represented North View Fire District with the utmost professionalism, pride, and commitment. We are grateful to have them as part of our team and proud of their dedication to continued growth and service to our community.

Help us congratulate Tanner and Greg on this outstanding accomplishment! 👏🚒🎓

For the past two evenings, North View Fire District crews have assisted Morgan County with the Rocky Canyon Fire. The first night, our crew helped ensure back-burning operations stayed within established lines, and last night, crews assisted with structure protection.

With several fires burning across Utah, resources have been limited. While our crews assisted in Morgan County, additional North View firefighters were called back to ensure our community continued receiving excellent fire and medical protection.

We value the relationships we have with our neighboring agencies. During last year’s Willard Peak Fire, many agencies stepped up without hesitation to help us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to return that support and serve our neighbors when they need us most. 🚒🔥

**FIREWORKS RESTRICTIONS UPDATE**

Following approval by the Utah State Forester, consumer fireworks will be prohibited throughout Harrisville, North Ogden, and Pleasant View from July 22 through July 25, 2026.

We sincerely appreciate the feedback received following our earlier announcement of partial restrictions. North View Fire District and our city partners value community input.

The feedback identified a level of community concern that warranted another review of the earlier decision. After reassessing current local conditions with the mayors of all three cities, we concluded that requesting expanded restrictions on consumer fireworks was the most responsible course. The State Forester has approved those requests.

Our purpose is to “provide our communities with the peace of mind, compassionate care, and stability necessary to sustain a high standard of living.” We hope this change reinforces that commitment and demonstrates our willingness to listen, reassess, and respond.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and for your continued partnership in protecting our communities.

We have just received clarification and guidance from the State Forester’s Office regarding fireworks restrictions for the July 24 holiday period.

Due to improved conditions across the state, the temporary total ban on fireworks will no longer be in effect. Our communities will return to the normal fireworks restrictions established earlier this year.

The approved fireworks discharge period is July 22 through July 25. Fireworks may only be discharged during this period and in locations where they are permitted.

Fireworks remain prohibited in all designated restricted areas identified on the accompanying map. Discharging fireworks in these areas will not be tolerated. Restrictions will be actively enforced, and individuals who violate them may be cited and face applicable legal penalties.

Before using fireworks, review the accompanying restriction map and confirm that fireworks are permitted at your location.

If fireworks are allowed in your area:

Use only legal fireworks.

Keep water nearby.

Never allow children to use fireworks without adult supervision.

Fully extinguish all fireworks and dispose of them safely.

Call 911 immediately if a fire starts.

We sincerely appreciate our community’s support, understanding, and patience throughout this process. Please respect all restrictions, celebrate responsibly, and help us protect our homes, open spaces, and community.

🚒 Help Shape the Future of Fire and EMS in Our Community

The North View Fire District is committed to planning for tomorrow while serving you today.

As our communities continue to grow, we are looking ahead to ensure we can provide the highest level of emergency response for years to come. We invite you to join us for a public presentation where we will share the strategic planning efforts that are guiding the future of our district, including the vision and data behind a proposed third fire station.

During this presentation, you’ll learn:
• How our community is growing and what it means for emergency services.
• Current response trends and future service needs.
• The strategic planning process that is helping guide the location and purpose of a third fire station.
• How these investments will strengthen emergency response, improve firefighter safety, and better serve our residents.

This is an opportunity to see how thoughtful planning, data-driven decisions, and community input are helping shape the future of the North View Fire District.

We encourage all residents to attend, ask questions, and be part of the conversation. Together, we can build a safer, stronger future for North Ogden, Pleasant View, and Harrisville.
