Is your teen looking for a fun, safe spot to hang out after school? Teen Space is officially back starting Monday, August 31!

Open to students in Grades 7–12, Teen Space runs Monday–Thursday from 2:45–5pm. Whether your teen needs to study, catch up with friends, or jump into games like Xbox, Nintendo Switch, ping pong, or board games, we’ve got a spot for them!

Welcome back to NPL! 📚 As the school year begins, please keep these quick guidelines in mind:

🍎Parking: Library lots are strictly for NPL patrons (no school parking or post-school pick-ups). Please do not park in front of the main doors to pick-up your student if they are using the Library.
🍎Peak Hours: Expect higher crowds & noise weekdays from 2:30-5pm.
🍎Teens (Grades 7–12): Join us for Teen Space (Mon–Thu, 2:45–5pm) or use our 2nd Floor Teen Lounge.
🍎Safety: Caregivers must stay with children under 7 at all times.
🍎Study & Meeting Rooms: Study rooms and booths are first-come, first-served. Meeting rooms are available for paid rental.
🍎Food: No outside food deliveries allowed near entrances or emergency or accessible parking areas.

We appreciate your cooperation and support as we kick off another great school year together!

We are thrilled to announce our third year in a row Human Library® event on Saturday, September 12 from 1-4pm, where you'll have the extraordinary opportunity to "borrow" a human being instead of a book, and engage in conversations that challenge stereotypes and foster understanding. It is a powerful concept designed to break down prejudices and build empathy, one conversation at a time.
