The NWBSN hosted the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) acting Regional Director, Kurt Fredenberg at the Pocatello Tribal office. Items discussed were budgets, Tribal ID's, Charter revisions and outlook of the agency in the coming years. Thank you again for your visit and for the continued dialogue. We value our relationship with your office and look forward to working together in a spirit of partnership and mutual respect. May 21st the NWBSN passed a resolution to become one of three tribes in the nation to become apart of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Work and Dignity Coalition for Public Housing Authorities, states, and partner organizations to collaborate in the development and implementation of housing policies and supportive service models designed to strengthen self-sufficiency, accountability, workforce participation, and pathways to independence;
