Kiosks are in, the app set up, the website live and now the Managed Parking System will go into effect Friday, June 19.
Here at Economic Development we want to use this space to answer some of the questions we’ve received from local businesses.
Where does WonderBlock fit in the new parking system?
There are 801 parking stalls in this structure with six EV charging stations and 17 ADA spaces. It is part of the Passport paid parking system, with enforcement Monday-Saturday 8am to 8pm.
Rates are $1/hour.
The WonderBlock Garage is not included in the employee permit option.

Managed Parking throughout Ogden City’s downtown area will go online starting Friday, June 19. We want to use this space to answer questions from the business community.
Rates differ in various portions of the city as seen by the map and this rate map.
Key things to know:
• Download the Passport Parking App
• Kiosk payment and text to pay options are available as well
• The first 15 minutes are free in several areas
• Employee parking options are available
• Long-term parking is encouraged in garages and designated areas
• Free parking still exists throughout downtown
Validation is an option for businesses interested in that route, this is done through passportinc.com/validation
We want to hear your questions as this roll out happens starting June 19, so as always, please contact [email protected]

Ogden City residents, businesses and patrons have a chance to review the proposed FY 2026-2027 balance budget on Tuesday, May 26 from 7pm to 8:30 inside the Municipal Building on the third floor.

This is right after Council's work session at 4pm, which will include the budget proposal presentation by Community and Economic Development.

This budget proposal includes highlights from all six of that department's divisions: Economic Development, Community Development, Planning, Building Services, the Ogden Airport and Cultural Services.

The following open house is a space where the community can ask questions and get clarification on the FY26-27 budget that includes NO tax increase.

Come be a part of the process of deciding the city's future!

Parking is evolving in downtown Ogden.
It’s been a years-long process, nearly FOUR years, but the managed parking system will finally “go live” Friday, June 19.
Here at EcoDev we want to use our social media space to highlight a few of the topics and questions Ogden businesses have reached out for us to address.
Here is the official parking map highlighting where kiosks are, which areas are paid and which are still free, where the ADA stalls are located and what rates employees and patrons can expect to pay.
If you’re a business owner with questions, please feel free to reach out to us at Ogden City Economic Development at business.ogdencity.gov
