The Coalition for the Homeless broke ground on its new Foundations Project in downtown Orlando.

The 105,000-square-foot facility will provide expanded housing, on-site healthcare, childcare, and other essential services for women and children experiencing homelessness. Once completed, the project will increase the Coalition’s capacity to serve the community by up to 50%.

Congratulations to the Coalition for the Homeless and all the community partners helping bring this important project to life!

Congratulations to The Desire Foundation Inc. on the grand opening of Parramore Market! 🎉

This first-of-its-kind nonprofit grocery store is bringing free, choice-based grocery access to the Parramore community. The market offers a welcoming shopping experience where residents can choose the foods that best meet their needs.

We’re proud to see DOP members Interstruct Design + Build, Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, and Orlando Utilities Commission among the partners who helped make this possible!

The OUC Orlando Half Marathon is celebrating 50 years! 🏃‍♀️🎉

Katelyn Presti, Senior Event Manager at Track Shack Events and Race Director of the OUC Orlando Half Marathon, shares what makes this year’s milestone race so special.

What started as a hometown race has grown into a four-day event welcoming runners from across the country and around the world. This year’s race will take participants through downtown Orlando, highlighting the city’s culture, community, music, and arts along the way.

By transforming heirloom garments into modern outerwear, accessories, keepsakes, and home décor, the team helps customers preserve both their investment and their memories.

LaBelle continues to operate from its longtime downtown Orlando location, having celebrated 100 years in business in 2019. For Santa, Orlando quickly became home after moving from Northern Europe, and today she continues to invest in the city and community her family has called home for generations.
