👨‍🚒🚒 Happy Father’s Day from the Pascoag Fire Department! 🚒👨‍🚒

Today, we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, father figures, and mentors who keep their families running smoothly—often with the same determination firefighters use to handle emergencies.

Whether you're teaching life lessons, fixing things that may or may not actually be broken, mastering the grill, or telling the same dad jokes for the hundredth time, today is your day.

Here at the firehouse, we know dads have a lot in common with firefighters:
🔥 They respond when they're needed.
🔥 They always seem to know when something is wrong.
🔥 They can fall asleep almost anywhere.
🔥 And they somehow manage to solve problems using zip ties, duct tape, and confidence.

To all the dads in our department and throughout our community, thank you for your dedication, guidance, and sense of humor. We hope your day is filled with family, relaxation, and at least a few laughs—even if they're from your own jokes.

And remember: today is the one day of the year when everyone has to laugh at your dad jokes. It's practically the law.

🚒 Join Us Today for a Historic Tradition 🚒

The Pascoag Fire Department invites all community members to attend the 100th Annual Fireman’s Memorial Ceremony today, June 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, as we gather to honor and remember the firefighters who have dedicated their lives to serving our communities.

Please join us as we pay tribute to those who came before us and reflect on a century of service, sacrifice, and brotherhood.

We look forward to seeing you there as we continue this proud tradition together.

🚨 TODAY IS THE DAY! 🚨

After Months of confusion, endless memes, and people asking “What does 6-7 even mean?”… the calendar has finally caught up.

The only day where the joke actually makes sense.

We’ve waited patiently. We’ve marked our calendars. We’ve trained for this moment. And now it’s finally here.

This Memorial Day, the members of the Pascoag Fire Department pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy each day will never be forgotten.

In preparation for Memorial Day, members of our department have spent time placing flags at the gravesites of past Pascoag firefighters and veterans as a sign of remembrance, respect, and gratitude for their service to both our community and our nation.

As the years pass, we want to ensure that no member of our fire department family is ever overlooked. If you know of a former Pascoag firefighter or member who has passed and may not currently be included in our records, we kindly ask that you reach out to us so we can add them to our list and continue to properly honor and remember them each Memorial Day.

Their service mattered. Their sacrifice matters. And their memory will always remain part of the Pascoag Fire Department family.

Our deepest sympathies to friends, family, and to those involved in this tragic accident.

Maine officials have identified the firefighter killed in the line of duty during Thursday’s explosion and fire in Searsmont as 27-year-old Morrill Firefighter Andrew Cross.

According to the Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and State Fire Marshal Shawn Esler, Firefighter Cross was killed during firefighting operations at the Robbins Lumber incident on Main Street in Searsmont.

“Our deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers are with the firefighter’s family, loved ones, and colleagues during this devastating time,” Esler said in a statement.

The Maine State Police will assist with an honorable transfer this morning from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta to Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast. The procession is expected to travel along Route 3.

Additional information regarding funeral and memorial arrangements is expected to be released when available.

Happy Mother’s Day from the Pascoag Fire Department! 🌷🚒

Today, we celebrate all the amazing mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and mother figures in our community. Thank you for the love, support, patience, and countless sacrifices you make every day.

We’d also like to recognize one very important fact:
Without mothers… there would be no firefighters! After all, somebody had to raise us, teach us right from wrong, and somehow survive the teenage years before we started riding fire trucks. 🚒😂

Thank you to all the moms who continue to support their families, their communities, and their local first responders every single day.
