Back at it again!

We were able to cook for west Minico, for their end of the year celebration!

Then over to East Minico to spray water at the kids!

Another great day for West end!

We cooked hamburgers for the Paul elementary 5th grader’s graduation party, at the Paul city park. Congratulations 5th graders!!

Then went over to Paul elementary and sprayed all the kids with water.

Happy end of school! Summer here we come!

West End Fire and QRU was dispatched at 13:13 today to a two vehicle accident with unknown injuries and reports of vehicles on fire. Upon arrival, we were thankful to find everyone outside of the burning vehicles and immediately began medical evaluations. We had a total of five critical patients and called for three helicopters due to the patients conditions.

We would like to thank Air St. Luke’s, Classic Air, Life Flight Network, ISP, Minidoka Sheriff’s Office, and MMH ambulances for their help with today’s accident.

Apologies for the late post! We had the opportunity to welcome the first graders from Paul Elementary to the fire station to learn about fire safety.

Started off with a video to learn about fire safety. Then students were able to go through our prop trailer and learn the steps to take if there was ever a fire in their home. They also got to tour the ambulance and learn a little about it. And of course, the favorite part of the day getting to spray the fire hose!

We always enjoy having the kids come by and helping teach fire safety in our community!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service, and dedication will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends today, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of their sacrifice.

Today we remember not only the heroes who gave their lives for our country, but also the firefighters from our department who have passed before us. Their service, sacrifice, and legacy will never be forgotten.

From all of us at West End Fire Department, we remember, we honor, and we thank those who gave everything.
