Take Off Program A preschool learning outreach program of the Umatilla County Special Library District.

The Take Off Program is the early literacy outreach program of the Umatilla County Special Library District. The program serves children from birth to kindergarten by partnering with early childhood educators within Umatilla County. While we hope that every child visits their local library and experiences the programs and everything the library has to offer, we realize not all children get this op

portunity. To promote the development of the early literacy skills necessary to successfully begin kindergarten, services are delivered to children where they attend preschool and/or childcare.

🌱Pre-School Summer Reading – Week 1! 🌱

Join us for Seed Planting on Thursday, June 18th at 10:30 am! Kids will get their hands dirty as they plant seeds and learn how a tiny seed can grow into something amazing.

This free program is part of our Summer Reading Program, and every participant will receive a free book to take home!

📚 Summer Reading Bonus: Kids who are signed up for Summer Reading earn a prize ticket for attending!

It’s not a very nice day outside, wind! Join us today, Tuesday June 16th we will start our summer movie days. Join us at 2:00 pm for our first feature. Here’s a clue, it rhymes with poppers and has a bunch of cute critters in it!

This week we will be reading books about baking and then create a layered chocolate chip cookie jar.
