Chief Golden and I had a great meeting today with the Bucks County District Attorney and he even agreed to do a quick PSA with me in response to resident complaints about a scam involving fraudsters claiming to be associated with his office. Please join me in welcoming Tessa Johnson as the Community Outreach & Communications Intern for the Borough of Yardley!

Tessa is a Borough Resident and 2026 graduate of Pennsbury High School with a passion for public service, environmental issues and communications.

Throughout her internship, she'll be working alongside the Mayor on a variety of projects, including community outreach and website updates.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in local government while giving a student the opportunity to contribute meaningful work to our community. We're excited to have Tessa on the team and look forward to the fresh perspective and enthusiasm she'll bring to Borough Hall.

*Tessa has generously volunteered her time in exchange for workplace experience so that this position can operate at no cost to taxpayers. While we agree Johnson is a great last name, Tessa is of no relation to Borough Manager Paula Johnson.
