The Houston Playground Summer Basketball League has officially crowned its 2026 Champions… ORANGE! 🟠🏆

Orange came out on top in the Championship Game, defeating Kelly Green 64–43 to take home the title! 🔥🏀

A HUGE thank you to ALL of our teams, referees, staff, fans, and supporters who made this summer league so special. Your energy, competition, sportsmanship, and support are what make Houston Playground basketball so much fun! 🙌

A HUGE thank you to Anywhere Mini Golf for coming out to Houston Playground and transforming our basketball court into an awesome mini golf course for our campers! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️⛳

Our campers had an absolute FORE-tastic time putting, laughing, competing, and making memories! 💚 We absolutely LOVE when Anywhere Mini Golf rolls into Houston Playground, and their visits are always something our campers look forward to!

The opening round of the playoffs delivered everything we hoped for—big shots, clutch performances, and seasons coming to an end. Congratulations to Dark Green, Orange, Charcoal, and Kelly Green for punching their tickets to the semifinals!

The opening night of the 2026 Houston Playground Men's Basketball Summer League Playoffs did not disappoint!

✅ #1 Dark Green advances with a hard-fought 65-57 victory over #8 Highlighter.
✅ #2 Orange keeps its red-hot streak alive, defeating #7 Navy 72-66 to punch its ticket to the Semifinals.

But the road to the championship is far from over...

Nine weeks of hard-fought basketball have brought us to this moment. Every win, every loss, every hustle play, and every clutch shot has led to the start of the 2026 Houston Playground Men's Basketball Summer League Playoffs.

The regular season is complete, and now the intensity reaches another level. The top eight teams have earned their shot at the championship, but from this point forward, there's no room for mistakes. Every game is win or go home.
