At Arizona's Children Association, we're honored to walk alongside families through some of life's most important journeys. Here's a story shared by one of the families we've served:
"When my husband and I first got married, adoption was never on our radar. To be honest, neither was foster care. However, through life’s different circumstances, we felt drawn to the foster care system and adoption. We are so grateful and glad we did! Our children give us a purpose that is so much greater than anything we could think of for ourselves. We get to celebrate their successes and witness the small miracles in their lives that are nothing short of divine.
We adopted our first four children from another state. How their adoption procedures, home studies, etc., are conducted is very different from Arizona. Once we moved here, we got to work with Arizona’s Children Association. Our family lives in a very rural area, and we had quite a unique situation. However, they did not skip a beat; efficient, professional, kind, sympathetic, and organized. I could say so many good things that we did not have during our first adoption. Home studies can be stressful; however, even when they are very thorough, they make it painless. It felt as though they held our hand through the whole process.
Arizona’s Children Association ensured our needs were met and assisted us in any way they could. I absolutely loved how AzCA encouraged communication and served as a liaison between the lawyer and case manager to ensure continuous forward progress. I never felt hindered by our monthly visits. This was because the time was taken to create a relationship with our family. We were cared for, and I loved and appreciated that.
Thank you to the AzCA team. We could not have done it without you." 💜
