🏀 Why a basketball court?

The splash pad provides a place for younger children to cool off and play. The pickleball courts have become a popular gathering place for adults. The new basketball court will add another free recreational opportunity for youth, teens, and families.

More importantly, it helps to continue the vision for Chilvers Park 2.0 — a welcoming, multi-generational space where people of all ages can gather, stay active, build friendships, and make memories together.

From splashes to swishes, every addition to Chilvers Park is helping transform an underutilized space into a vibrant community destination.
