Highstreet Insurance and IMT Insurance Award $500 to Pierce Senior Citizens Center

WEST DES MOINES, IA, June 1, 2026 — IMT Insurance, a leading provider of personal and commercial insurance products in the Midwest, recently announced its list of 2026 Community Contest winners, distinguishing the Pierce Senior Citizens Center, submitted by Highstreet Insurance & Financial Services in Pierce, as one of the $500 recipients.

For 29 years, the IMT Community Contest has awarded monetary gifts to community projects and organizations within the states the company does business. This year, 48 awards of either $500 or $1,000, totaling $30,000, were gifted to local projects and organizations. From local park renovations to fire and rescue crew equipment upgrades, and a wide variety of projects in between, the IMT Community Contest recipients are making communities safer, more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming.

With many community entries submitted and $30,000 awarded to worthy causes, Pierce Senior Citizens Center’s Food Pantry Supplies and Containers Restock submission was chosen as one of the $500 winners.

The Pierce Senior Citizen Center is proud to announce its community partnership initiative, where volunteers assisted at Pierce Prospect View Cemetery by collecting flowers left over from Memorial Day weekend. These flowers will be repurposed into arrangements for next year's Memorial Day observance. We invite you to support the center's efforts by purchasing your Memorial Day flower arrangements from us in the upcoming year.
