These pictures are tear jerkers if you understand how difficult it is for senior dogs to make it out of the shelter, and our staff knows that all too well. 💔
Senior girl Tasha never expected to find herself starting over at this stage of her life. 😔
You can see the worry in her eyes.
She was surrendered to Pine Bluff Animal Control because her owner’s health was declining and they could no longer care for her.
Sometimes, life puts people in heartbreaking situations, and through no fault of her own, Tasha lost the home she knew.
Since arriving, Tasha has stolen the hearts of our staff. ❤️
She’s become a staff favorite, and it’s easy to see why. She’s a sweet senior girl who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and deserves a soft place to land, a cozy bed, and someone to love her through her golden years.
But Tasha has one more hurdle to overcome. She is heartworm positive. We know that can sound scary, but there is HOPE! 🩷
🏡 Henderson Home Animal Rescue has generously offered to SPONSOR Tasha’s heartworm treatment if we can find her an adopter!
Let that sink in. Her treatment can be sponsored. One of the biggest obstacles standing between Tasha and her next chapter could be taken care of.
All she needs now is someone willing to open their heart and home to a senior girl who has already lost so much.
Please, don’t overlook her because of her age. Don’t let her spend her remaining years waiting behind a kennel door, wondering why her family isn’t coming back.
Senior dogs have so much love left to give. Tasha deserves the chance to give and receive that love again. 💔🐾
🙏 PLEASE SHARE TASHA. Her person could be just one share away.
