Update-Power has been restored!

Power Outage!

The storm last night caused several utility poles on the way to Wilson to break. Those poles are on the feed line circuit for Pinetops and are the reason for the outage in town. Wilson is working to repair the line. The approximate repair timeline is by noon today.

Great event!
The Town of Pinetops Advisory Board was happy to host and participate with a back to school event at the ballpark in Pinetops Event Center. The collaboration between the town staff, town advisory board members, the town administration, volunteers and coordinators proved to be a great success.
Special thanks to Tashae' Nicole for taking lead on this. Her passion for community, especially when dealing with our youth is amazing. We look forward to working with her in the future.

The Town of Pinetops Senior Leadership Team was able to acquire rubber mulch to put in the playground area of the town park. This mulch is expected to last 10 to 15 years and help promote a very safe experience for citizens of our community. We would like to think W&W Landscaping for the assistance with this and the town workers for their diligent work in getting this out today.
