We were honored to have Holiday Village Fire Department come out and join us to kick off fire prevention month that will begin this week. We can’t wait for them to come back in a few weeks to show off their trucks and speak to us about fire safety!

Use Extreme Caution When Burning Outdoors

Before burning, always check current weather conditions and local burn restrictions. Keep fires attended, maintain a safe distance from structures and vegetation, and have water or fire-extinguishing equipment readily available.

Never leave an outdoor fire unattended. Stay safe and help prevent wildfires.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. NEVER FORGET

Twenty-five years later, the memory of September 11 remains forever etched in the hearts of the fire service.

On that day, 343 firefighters made the ultimate sacrifice while running toward danger as others ran away. They answered the call knowing the risks, just as firefighters have done for generations.

Today, the Holiday Village Fire Department proudly honors the 343, along with the police officers, EMS personnel, and nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost that day.

We remember their courage.
We honor their sacrifice.
We carry their legacy forward.

They ran in. We will never forget.

September 11, 2001 — Forever Remembered.

TONIGHT’S TRAINING | EXTRICATION TOOL FAMILIARIZATION

Our firefighters spent tonight’s training getting hands-on with our extrication equipment, focusing on tool familiarization, proper operation, positioning, and safe handling.

Understanding our equipment and knowing what it can do is critical when responding to vehicle crashes and other technical rescue incidents.

Training today. Saving lives tomorrow.

Our firefighters recently completed CPR training, sharpening the skills that can make all the difference during an emergency. From the fireground to medical calls, we continuously train to provide the highest level of care when seconds count.

Every class, every drill, and every hour of training helps ensure we’re ready when our community needs us most.

Committed to serving. Dedicated to protecting. Always ready.
