As our communities go back to school, we will once again see those yellow school buses out on the road. Remember to follow the laws and come to a complete stop when approaching or following a school bus with their red lights, stop bars and gates activated. Let’s keep this 2026-2027 School Year Safe!

It is with heavy hearts that we extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters at Fort Loramie Rescue.

The loss of two of their dedicated members, Susan and Shari Eilerman, is a tragedy felt deeply throughout our entire emergency services community. These individuals spent their lives answering the call to help others in their darkest hours, and their selflessness will never be forgotten.

To the families, friends, and colleagues of the fallen: we stand with you, we mourn with you, and we are here for you.

Rest easy, We’ll take the watch from here.

With a State of Emergency in place and winter weather expected over the next 48 hours, please plan ahead and avoid unnecessary travel. Conditions may change quickly, and staying off the roads helps keep everyone safe.
