Happy to partner on this beautiful train ride to raise funds and awareness for the Aroostook House of Comfort!

We are incredibly grateful to Maine Northern Railway for selecting the Aroostook Hospice Foundation as the charitable recipient of this year’s Fall Foliage Train Rides!

On Saturday, September 26, enjoy a beautiful ride through the St. John Valley, with all proceeds from ticket sales benefiting the Aroostook House of Comfort.

Maine Northern Railway is generously providing the train and crew, and we are equally grateful to the United Way of Aroostook and their volunteers for stepping up to help us bring this special event together.

🎟️ Tickets are $30 per passenger and go on sale September 10 at 9:00 AM. All passengers, including young children riding on a lap, will need a ticket. The ticket link will be shared that morning.

Join United Way of Aroostook, in partnership with Acadia Federal Credit Union and WAGM-TV, for the Great Community Lock Up on Tuesday, August 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Acadia Federal Credit Union in Presque Isle.

Here's how it works:
🔒 Call in a "warrant" for a friend, coworker, boss, family member, or community leader. Once they're "locked up," they'll have to raise "bail" by asking friends, family, and colleagues to make donations to secure their release.

We’re at Walmart until 6:00 PM today collecting donations for Stuff the Bus!

Stop by and help support local students alongside Aroostook County Action Program, Katahdin Trust Company, and Townsquare Media as we work to stuff hundreds of backpacks with the school supplies kids need for a successful start to the school year.

Can’t make it today? There’s still time to help! Donations will be accepted through August 13th at ACAP, 771 Main Street, during regular business hours.

If your family needs assistance with back-to-school supplies, please contact ACAP to sign up.

And don’t forget to join us for the Back to School Bash on August 14th in the ACAP parking lot! It’s a great way to celebrate the new school year and connect with the community.
