On July 20, 2026, Rancho Cucamonga deputies conducted a traffic stop involving an illegally operated electric motorcycle. During the enforcement, three additional riders sped past the deputy, performing dangerous stunts.

The deputy remained focused on the original enforcement action. What the riders may not have expected was that the investigation didn't end there. Through follow-up investigation, deputies identified one of the riders.

On July 22, 2026, deputies contacted the individual at his residence, where he was arrested, his motorcycle impounded and later released to his parents.

A reminder to all riders: Just because you weren't stopped in the moment doesn't mean you got away. If you choose to ride illegally, endanger the public, or engage in reckless stunt riding on our streets, our deputies will continue the investigation and seek prosecution.
