Summer is here, and there’s no better time to make water safety a priority!☀️
The City has partnered with Tsunami Water Polo Club to bring a new Aquatics Program to our community. All classes take place in the heated pools at Etiwanda High School (13500 Victoria St.) and are designed to help swimmers of all ages build confidence, develop skills, and stay safer in and around the water.
Swim Programs Available: 🏊
• Ripples (Parent + Me) | Ages 6–36 Months
• Core Swim Levels | Ages 3–12 Years
• TAPS Pathways (Water Polo, Swim Team & Synchronized Swimming) | Ages 5–17 Years
• Private & Semi-Private Lessons | Ages 5–17 Years
As families enjoy pools, splash pads, and water activities this summer, remember the ABCs of Water Safety:
Active Supervision – Always designate a Water Watcher.
Barriers – Keep pool gates and barriers secure.
Classes – Swim lessons and CPR training can help prevent tragedies and prepare you to respond in an emergency.
The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District also offers Heartsaver CPR classes covering infant, child, and adult CPR, choking relief, and AED use. Participants receive a two-year certification upon completion.❤️
Swim lesson registration is now open! Visit CityofRC.us to learn more about aquatics programs, and visit RCFire.org to register for CPR classes.
