The Ranson Parks and Recreation Board will hold a public meeting to gather community input on proposed planning concepts for Hunter Muse Park, located near Marcus Field.

It was a great night of friendly competition as Team Ranson defeated the Jefferson County Commission, West Virginia 6–2 in this year's Annual Kickball Showdown!

While Ranson took home the win on the field, the Jefferson County Commission took the victory when it came to donations for Pack the Bus! Congratulations to the Commission and everyone who helped make that possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organize this event, to all of the players from both teams for bringing the competition and community spirit, and to everyone who came out to cheer us on and support local students.

This event was a great reminder that a little friendly competition can make a big difference in our community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Kickball Showdown a success. See you all next year!

The City vs. County Kickball Showdown is just around the corner, and we're collecting school supply donations to help local students start the school year ready to learn!

You can drop off donations at either of these Ranson locations. Look for the Pack the Bus Drop-Off Box at each site:

Every donation helps, and every box filled means more supplies for local students. Thank you for helping us support our community!
