The Rhome Fire Department had a great time visiting Chisholm Trail Church and taking on the very important job of judging some delicious homemade ice cream!

Our firefighters were happy to participate and spend time with such a wonderful group. Chisholm Trail Church has done so much to support and show appreciation for our Fire Department, so it was especially meaningful for us to be part of their event.

Thank you, Chisholm Trail Church, for the invitation, the hospitality, and of course, the ice cream! We truly appreciate your continued support of our firefighters and everything you do for the community.

And to everyone who made homemade ice cream... you definitely made judging a tough job!

REMINDER FROM RHOME FIRE RESCUE

As we celebrate Independence Day, please remember that fireworks are prohibited within the City of Rhome.
Rhome Municipal Code – Article 5.05 (Fireworks) prohibits the sale, possession, use, or discharge of fireworks within the city limits.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping protect our neighborhoods, first responders, and property. Have a safe and happy holiday! 🇺🇸🚒

Good morning, Rhome friends!

We are one day closer to our Americas 250th Splash Day Celebration!
Please remember to register for our Patriotic Themed Bike Decorating Contest! Where we will give prizes to our winners! If you have kiddos participating in our bike contest, please have them bring their bikes to the pavilion upon arrival. We will have our silent judges have judging done by 1:00PM and winners announced by 1:30PM!

With water slides, sack races, and free treats this will be an afternoon you won't want to miss!

Hope to see you all there this Saturday, June 27th, from 11AM-3PM!

Last week something really cool happened. One of our volunteers got his Christmas present early. His official helmet shield and number. And it was hand delivered by Santa himself! We would like to welcome Blaine Borghesi to our fire family. Blaine is now a full time paid firefighter assigned to A shift. Blaine is a graduate of our fire academy and a Wise County local. Welcome to the best job in the world!
