FREE ebooks, audiobooks, comic books, television shows, and movies! All you need is your Nueces County Public Library card. The Nueces County Public Libraries consist three separate branches. The main branch is located in Robstown, TX and moved into its current building in April 2008. The secondary branch is located within the Nueces County building located in Bishop. Te third location is the Law Library at the Nueces County Courthouse.

Robstown residents: Keep your child active this summer! 🌞🏃

There are still opportunities to give your kiddos a head start on healthy habits through P.L.A.Y. – Promoting Learning, Activity, & Youth Health classes for children ages 7 and up.

Led by the amazing team at Kids Get Fit, these FREE high-energy classes will be held on Tuesdays, June 16, June 23, and June 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Keach Family Library, 1000 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, in Robstown.

Each week, we’ll dive into fun activities focused on fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness.

Please be weather aware and for roadway hazards. Please read below about affected areas from Nueces County Sheriff’s Office.

⚠️ Updates Hazardous Driving Conditions

The Nueces County Sheriff's Office continues to monitor several weather-related roadway hazards involving standing water and flooded streets.

Current affected areas are as follows:

Hwy 286 South at FM 2444 is shut down all the way to FM 70. Traffic has been re-routed to go left or right.
Nueces Street, Robstown (flooded )
Mesquite Street, Robstown (flooded)
Garcia Street, Robstown (flooded)
West Avenue J between Bosquez Street and Picker Lane, Robstown (flooded)
FM1889 at CR 48 has high water along the Southbound side near the cemetery.
3100 Block at CR 44 has high water with water flowing over but is still drivable.
FM 2292 has receding water but could become flooded between FM 665 and CR 34


This is the most current information available at this time. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as additional information becomes available.

It's been a busy 2 weeks at the Keach Family Library! Thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun. A special thank you to the International Crane Foundation and South Texas Robotics. There is still more fun happening this summer!
