There are a few spots remaining for the upcoming Hmong Needlework (paj ntaub) series with local artist Mandora Young at RCL-Roseville in September & October.

Participants will learn unique patterns and the rich history of the Hmong paj ntaub ("flower cloth"). Registration is required. Dolly Parton understood something libraries have always known: a book can open an entire world.

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she turned that belief into action by putting millions of books into the hands of children and helping them discover worlds beyond their own.

For those of us who believe deeply in the power of libraries, literacy, and stories, her legacy feels especially meaningful. Thank you, Dolly, for giving families moments together and so many young imaginations room to grow. 🦋

Important information about RCL-Roseville and RCL-New Brighton 👇

Sections of the parking lot at RCL-Roseville will be closed this week for maintenance. Accessible parking spaces may limited during this time. If the drive-up book drop is not available, our freestanding book drop will be located near the Service Center entrance on the south side of the building. This work will continue into early next week.

RCL-New Brighton will be closed Sept. 8-11 due to maintenance at the Community Center. The drive-up book drop will also be closed Sept. 10-11 while crews work on the parking lot.

With school just around the corner, anyone with school-age children can pick up gently used supplies at the free School Supply Swap on Aug. 7, 8 and 10 at the Environmental Center. Educators are also welcome.

All supplies have been donated by residents and checked to ensure they're in good condition.

Library services have returned to normal after our software transition 🎉. The library catalog, our mobile app and library card signups are all available. There is a temporary delay for in and outbound Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests has been identified and our software transition team is working to make the service available as soon as possible.
