Juneteenth is an African American cultural celebration of the day news of the end of the Civil War and slavery reached Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865. The celebration is now a federal holiday, and a Ramsey County holiday.

Thank you to everyone who came by on Saturday for All-Ages Pride at RCL-Roseville! We had so much fun seeing everyone with their faces painted and carrying their hand-made projects around the library. And of course, the special storytime with Pippin Panic was a highlight for everyone who stopped in. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

The power has been restored at library in Shoreview. The library is open today for normal business hours.

All county facilities are open today as usual. Please continue to be aware of downed trees and utility crews as you travel around the county.

Due to a power outage, the Ramsey County Library in Shoreview is closed today June 10. We are working closely with Xcel Energy to restore power. Updates will be posted once power is restored.
