It is the mission of the Rosholt School District to provide a quality education in a safe environment that will allow each student the opportunity to develop mentally, morally, and socially to his or her fullest potential. The Rosholt School District is located on Hwy 127 on the western edge of town, in the extreme northeast corner of South Dakota. The town consists of hard working and dedicated i

ndividuals who have helped create a strong community and "Distinguished School" as defined by the South Dakota Department of Education. The elementary wing was completed in 2003 and houses about 80 students in grades K-5. While the Middle School and High School wings are together and consist of about 123 students. The third wing of the school, which was just completed in 2009, contains the Music Department, Wellness Center, administration, and Gym.

I hope everyone is having a great summer. I have some great news regarding Driver's Education. We have secured a classroom teacher and the classroom portion will be July 22nd from 8-4, July 23rd from 8-4, July 29th from 8-4 and July 30th from 8-2. We will schedule driving hours at a later time. Thank you so much for your patience as this process played out. We want to be able to offer this opportunity but instructors are getting harder and harder to find. We will need a minimum number of students to offer the class so please text or call Spencer Oland at 218.689.0598 to sign up for Driver's Ed. Please text or call by Friday June 12th. Rosholt School District offers a stand-alone preschool for children that are 4 years old before September 1, 2026. The program runs from Monday - Thursday from 8:25am - 11:30am, and there is a small monthly tuition to attend. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in enrolling your child in Rosholt's Preschool Program!
