Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a day to remember the men and women who laid down their lives so that this nation could remain free.

Every right we enjoy: the freedom to speak, worship, vote, gather, and live as Americans, has been defended by generations willing to sacrifice everything. Their courage reminds us that liberty is never guaranteed; it is preserved by duty, honor, and sacrifice.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13

Today we honor those heroes who gave everything in service to this nation. We remember their sacrifice, pray for their families, and recommit ourselves to protecting the freedoms they secured with their lives. May God bless the memory of the fallen, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
