Thank you to everyone who participated in the writing workshop yesterday! Mary Anne is a great teacher. I don't know about you, but it certainly sparked an interest in me to start writing my stories ✍️
Heart of America Library has a writer's group. The next meeting is 10am Saturday, September 26th...everyone is welcome to join.

Heart of America Library is pleased to announce that we have the display Messages from Survivors from The Memory Project set up now to September 30. This display was made possible by an anonymous donor who believes in the importance of the message. The display has the opportunity to travel around ND over the next year visiting at least eight different libraries.

You will have the opportunity to go through the panels and read about Anna and Jack Jacobs. Each panel has a QR code printed and we invite you to have you phone with you so you can take the opportunity to actually hear a story from a Holocaust survivor.

The deepest wish of Anna and Jack was "such a thing as the Holocaust should never happen again." And from Roz and Laurie, "together, let's help make their wish come true."

We had some super sweet readers at the library on this rainy Friday 🌧 😍
They were looking for yeti books to keep them entertained for the weekend and we had what they were looking for.

🥳Today is the day our readers get to pick their reading prizes!

We started summer reading on May 26th and we end today, July 31st. The first round of reading was fantastic with 119 people earning a wristband to ride rides at the fair. In the second round of reading, we have 34 people reading for fantastic prizes sponsored by businesses in our community.

In total Rugby, Pierce County has read a total of 159,126 minutes! That equals 2,652 hours😲!
We have several outstanding readers in our community 🥰

We'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who made this possible. Without these amazing people, this program would not have happened.
Miss Robin, thank you for keeping us, the books, and circulation organized...even when it seemed like chaos. You kept us in line.
Miss Jessica, thank you for getting new books cataloged quickly for the readers and for jumping in to help when needed.
Miss Nina, thank you for supervising and supporting the Monday activities. We all enjoyed the crafts and more.
Miss Angela, thank you for helping us kick-off the program.
