Yesterday, Officer Fritz attended the 10th Anniversary Kick-Off and overdose memorial event, Festival of Hope.

On August 4th, 2026, the 6th annual National Night Out in The Town of St. Michaels, Maryland was celebrated at the Bay Hundred Pool parking lot. A special thank you goes out to the fire department, volunteers, and our community resource partners.

On Wednesday, July 8th, Patrolman Erin Brown was sworn in by St. Michaels Commissioner, Jay Hudson. Officer Brown comes to us with fourteen years of prior experience in public service. After earning her Police Certification from Anne Arundel Community College Law Enforcement Academy, she served as a police officer with Morningside Police Department. When Officer Brown is not working, she spends her spare time riding and caring for her three horses.

We once again want to welcome Officer Brown and are confident that she will provide valuable support to our citizens and our dedicated police force. So, when you see her out on patrol, please don't hesitate to introduce yourself and welcome Officer Brown to the St. Michaels community.
