BEWARE OF I.C.E. IN BALCONES HEIGHTS

against ICE’s 287(g) program with Balcones Heights PD.

The City of Balcones Heights has signed an agreement (1/7/2026) with ICE that will allow their 30 police officers to stop traffic in their less-than -1 sq-mile jurisdiction and ask the drivers “for their papers”. 80% of the residents in BH are people of color.

We ask each of you to call the members of the city council and ask them to rescind their 287g agreement with ICE, an agreement which will may lead to racial profiling and lawsuits which the residents of Balcones Heights will have to pay.

Ninety days to sign an extradition warrant. He let it run out — for an agent charged with shooting a man, then lying about it. This isn’t protection. It’s a pattern. Justicia para todos or justice for no one — there’s no in-between.

The Bexar Dems are running a series of educational videos on some of the critical statewide offices that are on your ballot.

First up, Texas Railroad Commissioner. This position has nothing to do with railroads and everything to do with regulating the oil and gas industry. And as you might imagine, there hasn’t been a lot of that in the past 30 years.
