About 1 in 7 of our Bexar County neighbors experiences food insecurity.

During Hunger Action Month, we are reminded that hunger is not always visible, but it affects families throughout our community every day.

At SA Hope Center, our Mercadito client-choice food pantry provides more than groceries. It gives individuals and families access to nutritious food with dignity and choice while connecting them to support that can lead to long-term stability.
