Can a brand new native garden boost biodiversity in under a year? Help us find out!
Join us Sunday, Sept 6 from 8:30–10am at San Dieguito County Park – Lower Park (near Highland Drive and El Camino Real).
The new habitat we created by building bioswales and planting native species, is already buzzing with life!
Volunteers will use iNaturalist and eBird to see which of 3 different areas hosts the most wildlife.
All ages welcome — no experience needed!
📌 Location Note: San Dieguito County Park, lower park (near corner of Highland Drive and El Camino Real). Entry gates will be closed at 8:30 so park off El Camino Real just to the right of the entry gate. Walk through the opening in the wooden fence, past the ponds, over the lawn to the right and look for a blue SBECO canopy near the Butterfly Garden.
