Trump’s tariffs are putting an increased burden on families during back to school season. Congress needs to take action and end Trump’s taxes on American consumers that are making everything more expensive.

Trump cancelled billions of dollars for clean energy projects in California. He’s so petty and vindictive he decided to punish and drive up energy costs for our state, which includes 6 million people who voted for him.

When the Trump administration canceled $7.5 billion in clean energy grants last October, Russell Vought, the White House budget director called it cutting the ‘Green New Scam.’ But in court filings this month, the Energy Department admitted the grants were terminated ‘based solely on the political identity of the grant recipient’s state.’

With one exception, every single canceled grant was in a state that voted for Kamala Harris and has two Democratic senators. Identical grants in Republican states were left completely untouched.

A federal judge has already ruled this violated the Fifth Amendment. And clean energy grants are just the beginning. The Trump administration has reportedly used the same playbook to withhold FEMA disaster relief and childcare funding from blue states.

Your federal tax dollars should fund every state equitably. The White House just admitted in writing they are only spending them in states that voted their way.

I sat through Jack Smith’s deposition, and he answered everything asked of him. Republicans can’t get mad about questions they never posed during the deposition. It’s an absurd and vindictive criminal referral, and any impartial judge would be able to see that.

At the heart of the Ohio Republican’s case is the idea that the former special counsel committed perjury, which clearly did not happen.
