EMS students practice performing CPR on a training mannequin while it is secured to a moving gurney. Under instructor supervision, students demonstrate chest compressions, teamwork, communication, and coordination while safely maneuvering the gurney during simulated patient transport.

REMINDER:

Yuma Union High School District schools will be closed to the public on Monday, September 21, 2026 for a district-wide professional development day. The district office will remain open during normal business hours.

ALL students will attend class virtually from home using the Canvas Learning Management System.

Students need to submit their attendance by clicking on the E-Learning button located on the homepage of their teacher’s Canvas page. Students will only need to click the E-Learning button once.

Classes will resume as regularly scheduled on Tuesday, September 22.
