Animal Tracks, Inc.

Animal Tracks, Inc. Welcome! Animal Tracks, Inc. Our mission is to provide a home for animals that cannot be returned to their natural habitats.

is a nonprofit organization that operates a wildlife rescue facility and strives to educate the public through exciting, interactive, live animal encounters. In addition to living at our ranch, most of our residents become ambassadors for their species and assist us in our dedication to conservation. Unique “ed-venture” programs can be tailored to any situation. In all of our shows, the spectators

become participants. We believe that learning should be fun! Currently, we are closed to the public due to zoning issues. We have to move our entire sanctuary to another property before we can resume our tours. Please donate to help us facilitate the move quicker, it is going to cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars! Venmo - the critters thank you from the bottom of their furry and feathered hearts! Our lead staff members are certified in Exotic Animal Training and Management and each has over thirty years of hands-on experience with all sorts of animals. For more than twenty years, they have been entertaining and educating audiences ranging from two to over two thousand and from pre-schoolers to corporate employees. For a virtual visit go to

Why do we talk so much about the illegal exotic pet trade? Because behind every “cute” animal for sale is a story that often starts with exploitation. 💔

Wild animals aren’t pets. They have complex physical, social, and emotional needs that most homes simply cannot provide. Many are taken from the wild, bred in captivity, passed from owner to owner, or abandoned when they become difficult to care for.

At Animal Tracks, we see the consequences firsthand. The animals in our care are here because something went wrong in the exotic pet trade — and our goal is to give them the safe, enriched, species-appropriate lives they deserve. 🐾

We talk about this issue because education can help prevent more animals from ending up in the same situation.

Think twice before buying, breeding, or supporting the trade in exotic animals. Admire wild animals without owning them. Keep the world wild! 🌎💚

What’s better than playing with water? Playing with water AND a hose! 💦🦝

While our raccoons aren’t part of our public tours because they prefer a quieter life, they’re safe, loved, and free to just be raccoons.

Your visits, donations, and support help provide enriching lives for animals like them. Thank you for helping us keep the world wild. 🌿

Fennec foxes may be incredibly cute, but they are wild animals—not pets. We’re grateful to give rescued animals like this little one a safe home where they can be loved, respected, and cared for.

Every animal at Animal Tracks has a story. 🐾💚

Some were purchased as pets. Some were surrendered when their needs became too difficult to meet. Others came to us after experiencing neglect or difficult circumstances.

Their past may be different, but today they all have something in common: a safe place to heal, explore, receive the care they need, and simply be themselves.

Rescue is only the beginning. Through lifelong care, education, and compassion, we’re working to give every animal the future they deserve—and to help prevent more wild animals from ever needing sanctuary.

Thank you for supporting our residents and being part of their next chapter. Every visit, donation, share, and act of kindness makes a difference. 🌿

“Why don’t you just release them?”

It’s a question we hear often, and the answer is not always simple.

Many rescued animals have spent years living in captivity and may no longer have the skills—or the opportunity—to survive safely in the wild. Releasing them could put them at risk and may also affect wild animal populations.

Whenever possible, wildlife belongs in the wild. But when release is no longer a safe option, a reputable sanctuary can provide the lifelong care, space, enrichment, and compassion they need to thrive.

At Animal Tracks, our residents are family—and we’re committed to giving them the best possible forever home. 💚

Meet Dobby, our tiny desert miracle 🦊☀️

Fennec foxes are adapted to life in hot, dry environments, and their oversized ears don’t just make them irresistibly cute—they also help release body heat and keep them cool!

Even desert animals appreciate a little rest when the temperatures rise… especially when it comes with the sweetest tiny sounds. 🥹

He may be small, but she’s full of personality—and we’re so grateful to give rescued animals like her a safe, loving home. Follow Dobby the fox at Animal Tracks on Instagram!

Come meet all our incredible rescued residents during an Animal Tracks experience 💚

Disclaimer: The animals featured above are rescued and are under the care of our trained staff and volunteers at the sanctuary. They are not pets, and we do not encourage or condone contact with wildlife.
