Georgia's Democratic Party of Chatham County The Democratic Party of Chatham County (DPCC) empowers the Chatham County Democratic Committee (CCDC). There are sixty-four members of the Committee.

tact between the Democratic Electorate and the State Democratic Party. DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF CHATHAM COUNTY
The Chatham County Democratic Committee administers the Democratic Party of Chatham County. All registered voters with residence in Chatham County completing a Democratic Party of Chatham County declaration shall, upon voter verification, be recognized as a member of the Democratic Party of Chatham County. Members of the Democratic Party of Chatham County shall advise the Chatham County Democratic Committee through their elected District representatives. Party members are the electorate for the Chatham County Democratic Committee.

The City of Pooler invites students passionate about their community and serving others to apply for the Pooler Youth Council. This leadership program is designed for high school students who want to make a positive impact and get involved in their community. Pooler Youth Council will give participants firsthand experience in local government and public service.

Members will share ideas, learn from city leaders, take part in community initiatives, and build skills that prepare them for future leadership opportunities. The program runs September through May, annually. Members are required to attend monthly Pooler Youth Council meetings and City Council meetings, in addition to select special events and an overnight trip to the Georgia State Capital in February.

Applicants should:
-Be a resident of the City of Pooler
-Be in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for the current school year
-Be committed to serving their community
-Have leadership potential and a willingness to learn
-Have the ability to actively participate in required meetings and events
-Be responsible, professional, and have respect for others
-Be interested in local government and civic engagement
-Be open-minded and willing to work with their peers

- Regulating data centers and their burden on local communities
-Flock cameras and the involuntary surveillance state they create
- Expanding access to affordable healthcare and reproductive rights
- Expanding jobs and economic opportunities while protecting labor rights
- Voter protections and election integrity
-Stabilizing our energy grid with renewable energy sources

This is a town hall format. You, the audience, bring questions. Current representatives and candidates answer directly. What they stand for, what they’ll fight for, what we can actually change.
