Attention Residents,

The Rural Oak recycling bins at the Township Building are temporarily unavailable due to staffing shortages with the company that services them. This is a free service, and we have reached out several times to try to get the issue resolved. We have also checked with the County, but unfortunately, there is no alternative option available at this time.

We understand this may be an inconvenience and appreciate your patience, as this issue is also affecting other recycling locations in the area.

You may notice the Township's Shield Radar Speed Sign on various roads. Grant applications for low volume roads also require vehicle volume studies as part of the application process.

In preparation for the Winter Season, here is a short narrative of how Township Roadways are maintained.

Clinton Township maintains 40.19 Miles of Roadway Surfaces with three routes total. One driver per route. Average time on a salt run is 1 hr 30 minutes per route. Average time on a salt and plow run is 3 hours. The average cost per ton of salt is $90.07 for 2025, up 30% from 10 years ago where the average cost was $64.00 per ton in Butler County through the state's cooperative purchasing program known as Costars.

During the upcoming Winter months, as per the Township Ordinances, NO ONE is to park on the cul-de-sacs or any public road or right of way so that the road can easily be cleaned of snow. Please DO NOT PUSH SNOW ONTO THE ROADS when plowing your driveway.
