Calling All (Grades 7 - 12) SSCS Spartans Soccer Players!

If you're thinking about playing soccer this fall, now is the perfect time to get ready for the season! Remember, all student-athletes must have a current sports physical before participating, and FREE sports physicals will be offered at SSCS on Thursday, August 13.

As we prepare for another exciting school year (don't worry students, it's still just July), we are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that truly puts students first.

Because of the supportive vision of our Board of Education, who believe every student should have access to the resources they need to take full advantage of every learning opportunity, Sharon Springs CSD will once again provide all essential classroom learning supplies for our students.

This is made possible through the combined efforts of so many people: Our dedicated teachers, who intentionally plan for the materials students need to be successful; our hardworking office staff, who carefully seek out the best bulk purchasing opportunities to ensure responsible stewardship of public funds; and our wonderful students and families, who value these resources and help ensure they are used responsibly throughout the school year.

SSCS will provide the essential supplies needed for learning, including writing utensils, folders, binders, notebooks, paper, classroom technology, tissues, cleaning supplies, and other classroom essentials.

The only item families will need to provide is a backpack. If purchasing a backpack presents a hardship, please don't hesitate to reach out. We will gladly connect you with our Sharing & Caring Program to ensure every student starts the school year ready and confident.

This is just one more example of what makes Sharon Springs special; a community that comes together to remove barriers, support one another, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
