It's Finally SUMMER and the kid's department is offering the seasonal book club, "Behind the Panels" perfect for 2nd through 5th grade! This program will select 2 graphic novel titles and hold a discussion group accompanied by a thematic craft. July's title is "Camp Monster" by Kate Messner. Books will be available for pick up in the children's room- sign up today!

Author J.D. Dickey will be discussing his book Boston, 1776: A Rogue Tour of Revolution City, which brings Revolutionary Boston to life through its streets, taverns, and key sites like Faneuil Hall and Bunker Hill, highlighting both well-known figures such as Revere and Adams and the everyday people caught in the Revolution.

Join our Archivist Arielle, on a journey exploring Ancestry.com and Fold3. Participants can expect to learn how to search census, vital and military records. This is an introductory class, but does require a basic understanding of how to use a computer. While not required, patrons are encouraged to bring their own laptops, notebooks and pencils.
