Weil Ave Improvements Update: (7800 Block of Weil: Laclede Station Road to Wilshusen Ave).
Paving work on Weil Avenue is scheduled to begin Monday, August 31. Residents should expect increased construction activity, large trucks and equipment, and temporary parking restrictions throughout the week.
Expected Schedule
Monday, August 31: Crews will fill the remaining gaps between the roadway and new curbs with flowable fill concrete. Please do not park on the roadway near these areas between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Tuesday, September 1: Asphalt milling and leveling is scheduled to begin.
Wednesday–Friday, September 2–4: Asphalt paving is expected to begin Wednesday and continue through Friday. An emulsified asphalt tack coat will be applied before paving. This material may track onto vehicles and concrete driveways, so please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
Please Plan Ahead
Residents are asked to avoid parking on the roadway during work hours throughout the paving process. While crews will make every effort to maintain emergency access, traffic may be affected by construction vehicles, equipment and workers. Please use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the work zone.
