Today, our students were excited to participate in a special end-of-year giveaway thanks to the incredible generosity of Collett and Sons Welding & Mfg. Inc

Through their donation of 400 small toys to the elementary schools, each of our students had the opportunity to choose a toy of their choice and take home a special surprise to celebrate a successful school year.

We are grateful for community partners like Collett and Sons Welding who help bring smiles to our students' faces and make our school community even stronger.

Our Lost & Found has officially reached "small clothing store" status! 😆

With just ONE WEEK of school remaining, we have a growing collection of jackets, hoodies, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other mystery items patiently waiting to be reunited with their owners.

Please encourage your student to stop by and check for any missing belongings before the end of the school year. Any items that remain unclaimed after the last week of school will be donated.

We are incredibly proud of our Multilingual Learners and the amazing growth they demonstrated this year on the ACCESS assessment! Every student showed progress, and nearly all met or exceeded the growth targets established by the state.

This achievement reflects the hard work, determination, and perseverance of our students, as well as the dedication and support of our entire school staff. From classroom teachers and specialists to support staff and administrators, it truly takes a team to help our students thrive.

Yesterday, some of our students enjoyed a special Sensory Day alongside our occupational and speech therapists! Through engaging activities, they practiced communication skills, self-regulation, and teamwork while having lots of fun. ☀️😊

With sunshine, warm weather, and plenty of smiles, it was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and memorable moments!

🏆 Huge congratulations to the Smyrna Elementary STEP Team! 🏆

Our students recently participated in the National Noetic Learning Math Contest and earned an impressive achievement as the 2nd Place Team in Delaware! 🎉

Even more exciting, 5 of our students placed in the Top 50% nationwide among thousands of participants across the country. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and outstanding problem-solving skills!

🎉 Today was the DAY at our elementary school! 🎉

Our amazing staff and students showed up BIG and things got a little INK-redible! 😄✏️

Teachers bravely “tattooed” themselves and the creativity was off the charts! From silly designs to colorful masterpieces, our school was filled with laughter, school spirit, and lots of smiles today. 💙💛

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, donated, cheered us on, and helped make today so memorable. Our students and staff truly are the BEST around!
