Zach from the Library Center recommends "Deep Cuts" by Holly Brickley.

"Listen, I love music... especially from the early 2000s to 2010... so 'Deep Cuts' immediately caught my attention. Each chapter is titled after a song, and I loved playing each track while reading. It added a whole new dimension to the experience and made the story feel even more alive. Such a creative and immersive way to read!

"I picked this book for my book club to change things up, and romance mixed with cool music vibes felt like the perfect choice. What really stuck with me was Percy’s growth. Watching her evolve, not just through love and heartbreak with Joe, but into a confident journalist and eventually a songwriter, was so empowering. She really finds herself, and I loved that journey. A fun, emotional read with a great soundtrack."

Christina from the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch recommends "The Encyclopedia of Ugly Fashion" by Karolina Żebrowska.

“This beautiful book of ugly fashion made me laugh many times at the absurd trends and the humorous commentary poking fun at them. While roasting the trends, Żebrowska will also tell you plenty about the history behind them so it's informative while also being stupidly funny. I would recommend 'The Encyclopedia of Ugly Fashion' to people who love obsessing over clothes in period dramas, and people who love watching YouTube videos on historical dress."
