Meador Park and Pool

Meador Park and Pool A 40-acre park established in 1958 in what was, at the time, the edge of Springfield. Named for Drury Professor L.E. More information on L.E. Meador is here.

Includes a playground, swimming pool, tennis and Pickleball courts and the Meador Baseball/Softball Sports Complex. Meador (1881-1975) who taught political science and economics at Drury for 43 years. 🔥 Due to the US National Weather Service Springfield Missouri Excessive Heat Warning, these pools stay open until late:

💦 Fri., Aug. 14: Silver Springs Pool open 1-8 p.m.
💦 Sat., Aug. 15: Meador Pool open 1-8 p.m.
💦 Sun., Aug. 16: Silver Springs Pool open 1-8 p.m.
🥫Enjoy Splash & Sizzle Discount pool admission from 5 p.m.-close, just $1/Person or FREE with a canned food donation.
