Senior Centers Offer Friendship, Fun, and a New Direction to Healthy Living
During the early 1980s, the SeniorAge Board of Directors made a standing commitment to help senior organizations achieve local ownership of centers. To fulfill this commitment, SeniorAge began encouraging senior corporations to purchase senior center buildings, with the assurance that we would then rent or lease the buildi

ng from them for services. The income from our rent or lease payments has helped senior communities successfully work toward debt-free ownership of their buildings. Today, we provide services through 36 senior centers. Our Senior Centers are generally open from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and they are managed by an employee of SeniorAge, whose title is Senior Center Administrator. Our centers are committed to serving the full spectrum of seniors, from the healthy, active senior who wants to use a lifetime of skills and experience to make a difference in our community through volunteering, to the frail elder who requires assistance meeting the needs of daily life. Our centers serve as a place for help, hope, and new direction in life. Thank you for visiting our page. The SeniorAge page is intended for informational purposes only.
