Last week, our Forest Park Campus Library paused to make space for creativity, reflection, and a few pocket-sized poems. As part of Poem in Your Pocket Day, students, staff, and community members stopped by to write original poetry, share favorite lines, and pick up poems to take with them and revisit later.

From handwritten verses filling our poetry board, to conversations sparked at the table, to poems finding new homes in jacket pockets and backpacks—it was a wonderful reminder that poetry belongs everywhere, and to everyone.

Thank you to everyone who participated, wrote, read, shared, or simply stopped by. Your words brought this space to life. 💙📚
