After 28 years of public service to St. Louis County Library, Director & CEO Kristen Sorth is retiring in January 2027. Kristen's unique, community-oriented approach to leadership has transformed the Library District into an award-winning, vibrant and community–centered organization. Kristen's philosophy of “starting with yes” has created strong relationships with community partners and has made SLCL a leader in regional collaboration. Ms. Sorth will join Clayco as Vice President, Civic and Social Impact in January 2027. We are thankful for all Kristen has done for the Library District and congratulate her on her new role!
