Don't forget, Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am-1pm are the "Gather 2 Grow" summer lunch program times here at the library for kids 0-18 and developmentally disabled adults up to age 26! These meals are ready to take with you and no registration or proof of income is needed.

Join us Monday, June 29th at the Hermansville Sportsmen's Club and/or Tuesday, June 30th, at the Stephenson Township Hall next to the Library to travel back millions of years with Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum to meet animals whose traits connect them to prehistoric life. Participants observe live animals up close while learning how adaptations and survival strategies have allowed these species to thrive through time. No registration needed! You are welcome to both events! Same presentation, two opportunities to enjoy!

🌟As a little bonus after the program on Tuesday, we have been asked to help decorate the windows of the old Gambles store in Stephenson for the 4th of July to help say🥳 'Happy 250th Birthday, America!'. After the program, any interested children and parents are invited to come paint! This will start around 11 or 11:15. There might be an extra incentive for kids who participate! 🤩

Reminder: No weekly Story Times during the summer, but Summer Reading is every other Friday at 10am! It's usually held outside on the South side of the building, but will be moved indoors if the weather's bad on that day. Remaining Summer Reading dates:

- June 26th
- July 10th
- July 24th
- August 7th finale!

You can also catch us at the Menominee County Fair Thursday, July 16th - Sunday, July 19th. Just look for the Bookmobile to find fun activities for kids! 🙂

Did you know that the Menominee County Library is a UPS Access Point? WE ARE!! So what does that mean? It means we can take any ready-to-ship item as long as it has a return label. We cannot accept QR return codes and we cannot create shipping labels. Do you have a return label, but it's in your email, and you don't have a printer? No problem! We can help you forward your email to us and print it for you. We can also be a hub for you if you are having a package shipped to you and you know you won't be home. You can have it delivered to the library, where you won't have to worry about porch pirates! It's super easy, tell your friends 😊 If you have any questions, please ask!

We also had fun tie dying shirts for our program! 😁 a little bonus of a couple pictures of shirts kids did on Friday. We’d love to see the finished shirts the kids made! Share your pictures here or better yet, have them wear them to the next Summer Reading program in two weeks!

What an amazing morning!!! 🤩🥳Our best kickoff yet for our Summer Reading Program. We had 81 KIDS come tie-dye with us today! We couldn't have done it without our wonderful community partner - Integra First Federal Credit Union! They purchased all the shirts for our event today and for Hermansville on Monday. We are so grateful for their support of our library. 🥰
